No, plus the game comes out in a months time. If they did an open beta I think that might delay the current release dates, especially if they found problems in the Open Beta.

I think it would kind of be a waste to buy the Japanese version and have it shipped when you only have to wait a bit more than a month to buy the US version. But I do understand the impatience. =)

Obviously if you don't understand Japanese you won't get the full experience of the game, but there are alot of guides to help you along the way to make it an enjoyable experience at least.

Well, since in most Pso game's, offline somehow sucked, to the point of the storyline being finding a genius girl who got "eaten" so to say by an humongous boss.

You could say buying yourself the game makes offline made a free complete open beta xD

If you need a fix, why not try out The Ship, Oblivion, or Okami? I'm playing The Ship, Oblivion, and some free MMOs while I wait. Waiting on Okami to be released on the 20th of this month.
