Help with ch 5

Alright, it turns out my friend has imported a copy of PSU. Since he has a lot of work at his school right now he agreed to lend it to me for a week or so.

My question is, on Neudaiz (chapter 5, I believe) I am stuck at the part with the frozen SEED. I equiped the strange red satellite gun or whatever and I have no Idea what to do. I tried looking up a walkthrough but the ones I found only went up to Chapter 4. Any help would be greatly appreciated http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

Use the goggles to look for spots on the ground, then stand on them with the satellite gun and shoot the seed
