JeuxVideo, a French gaming news site, recently published an article which states the retail price of two PlayStation 3 games: Sonic The Hedgehog will be €67 and Snooker Championship will be €73. The US Dollar conversion for the prices are $86 and $93.
The site claims (http://www.jeuxvideo.fr/les-prix-des-jeux-playstation-3-et-wii-actu-35245.html) that SEGA has confirmed these prices, and even announced the price of Wii's Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz and Sonic Wild Fire as €59 euros; however, SEGA has yet to publish an official press release.
Current European prices of the Xbox 360 games are €49 and €69. If JeuxVideo's reports are indeed correct, this could indicate the US retail prices of PlayStation 3 games may be around $59 to $69.
Both SEGA and Sony have yet to comment on these pricing reports.
