I plan on gettin psu and getting very good at it. Im playin fps now and im gona take a break from it once psu comes out. My first question is do you need to unlock things in story mode before you can use them online?

My second is are there levels like in the other games? Will i stay the same level on every server?

1st Q: You don't need to unlock things in Story for Online, but you need to progress in Story to unlock things in Extra Mode.

2nd Q: If by levels you mean character levels, then yes you can change servers and keep the levels.

No. Online is seperate from the story, and yes, there are character levels and you can change severs at any time and still keep your level.

What you do in story mode has no effect on online mode.

If you mean levels as in leveling up, yeah there are levels. No matter which server you go to your level will remain the same.

Neither one are connected.

Offline is offline only. Online is online only.

I have a question as well. From screenshots that I have seen, this looks like a very interesting game, how does gameplay compare to that of RF Online which has a similar graphic style to it?

I haven't played RF online but if it's an MMORPG then PSU is probably very different. You have full control over your character and you fight enemies in real time. It's not an MMORPG, it's an Online Action RPG. The real-time combat makes grinding alot more bearable than in MMORPGs.

RF was basically a total grind fest until you ocxuld PVP at level 25.. gameplay was fun to start, but within 2 hours boring

PSU should be fun because it plays like an action game. I just can't get into online RPGs that use a point, click and watch combat system

i know WoW its not really like that, but RF was attack, drink potion, wait, wait, use ability, drink portion
