Is PSU smooth with a Xbox 360 Controller?

I have a wired 360 controller just so i can use it on pc and 360 and was wondering has anyone tryed playing PSU with a 360 controller? Ive noticed on some movies the game looks made for pc more the consoles. And PSO was always made aimed to consoles. Also hows the side stepping using a controller?

My only opinion is that the Xbox 360 Controller is exceptionally comfortable. It can keep you playing due to the comfortabilitty with it. Im gonna be using Xbox 360 wireless on an Xbox 360...

Absolutely. The 360 controller works wonderfully for PSU (though you will want to use XBCD drivers instead of the official ones so that you can map the triggers as buttons instead of axis). I really can't imagine anything more comfortable for playing the game.

Sidestepping is just a matter of holding one of the shoulder bumpers down and then moving.

I use an XBox360 controller to play, it's perfect. I have it mapped like a PS2 controller using XBCD and the game's own configuration program.

I also give it two thumbs up ^__^ it really surprised me. The game's compatibility with gamepads is also a thingn to admire. I can just press the button to the left of the "X" thingy to open my menu. *shrug* It's just how you configure it...

The 360 controller has to be on of the most comfortable controllers I had the pleasure to hold in my hands. It is like to DC and saturn controller ( probably the best game pads of thier time) put togher. Making it probably the best game pad of this time. I recommend using it. Make sure to use the XBCD drivers and you wont regret it.

the DC controller was the only bad thing about the system lol Trigger suxed on 90% of its games. 360 controller are very nice just kinda cheap made like nintendos stuff =/

I use the PS2-Controller on PC and Rumble doesn't work! But its very good to play with this Pad! Haven't tested with Xbox360-Controller.

Yeah, if I can rig it, I intend to use either a GameCube controller or an Xbox360 controller to play PSU. Getting the adapter is easy, but I hope PSU supports it.

Umm that's the select button. That is if by the "'X' thingy" you mean the large blinking X button in the middle of the controller.

I actually meant the right button, lol. I was looking at my controller backwards for some reason, but yes, the LARGE BLINKING X button.. I just call it the X thingy.

Yep. XBCD can screw with it if I recall correctly, but otherwise it works just fine.

I am really amazed how perfect the 360 controller is, easily the most comfortable controller I have ever used. Havn't used it for PSu yet but it was awesome for PSO BB.

i was referring to the nindtendo controllers not the systems. N64 and GC controllers where pretty sheap made. So is the 360 controllers. I would compared it to sony's but there is to crappy to even bring up. Joysticks on playstations wear out fast! And the crappy ps2 disk read error suxs to. GC controller could of been the best controller only if the c stick wasnt so small and if they added another Z button.

I tried google by typing xbcd drivers and I got this link at the top of the search. http://www.redcl0ud.com/xbcd.html But I noticed it mentioned nothing of compatibility with the 360.
