Do you lose any PA's while changing jobs? Because jobs have PA caps...

PAs and PA levels are seperate to jobs. For example, if you change from HU to RA, you will keep your PAs. You may not be able to use all of them of course, but they'll still be there for if you change back.

The only real change to this is, if you have say... level 15 dagger PA, and you change to RA, then your dagger PA will be capped at level 10, since RA can only get level 10 of dagger techs. When you change back to HU, you'll still have level 15 though.

Shazbot...the double posting was a mistake. Still, How long does it take to level a PA?

doesn't take too long. I am only a level 12 newman force (maintenence always comes when I get on so still low level). And I already have most of my basic techs close to 10 and my RA techs close to 5. Minus the holy support ones which is low as dirt. So really doesn't take that long if you use them alot.

Im assuming those are the online caps right?
I've a Beast hunter on extra mode who's Dual dagger PA is now lvl 21. Adding an extra 3rd finishing attack onto it.

Extra mode is broken in many ways. Online, I believe people have assumed its affected by your rank in said weapon. But offline, even that isn't true.

Wha? What have I been doing wrong... I'm level 20 and barely have my basic techs in 10's (like 5,12,5,17) and my ra techs are...barely even leveled up (like 1,5,1,8)

I been doing solo runs so I have to kill everything myself, which equals more casting of my techs. That is mainly why. So really it is a double edge sword early on. You can power level with full parties and have lower level techs/PAs.... or solo/small parties and have higher level techs/PAs.
