Japanese X360 players, quick question.

Can you name your character or is your character's name tied to your gamertag?

I think it's a safe bet that none of your character names will be tied to a gamertag. That'd just be ridiculous.

It can be safely assumed it's just your account info tied to your gamertag, including characters, but not "character names"

Gamertag is just for friendslists and to be able to track you through XBL I believe. Like it was said, US getting XBox360 version first! yippee!

I thought that the 360 Release was October 1st for Japan, and October 24th for us...?

According to Sega, you get 4 characters per account, so I doubt they'd all be named by your gamer tag. Sega also claims that you can name your character anything you want (within reason, I guess) and it doesn't matter if another character has the name...
