I just went to my local gamestop and preorder it he told that it will be released on the 25th of Oct. I live on he east coast btw.

He might have the date wrong or his particular shipment might come in late? Gamestop where I live said 24th.

Yeah, no shit, lol.

If you live on the East Coast, like me and Killuminati, you'll always get the game a day later than what other people in the US are getting it from because almost no game manufacturer is based near the East Coast, so it's hard for them to ship it to us over here.

October 24th is the shipping date. October 25th, the next day, is the street date, which is when it actually should be hitting most stores.

Blueblur is right. No one will have the game on the 24th as that is the shipping date. I doubt the servers will even be operational on the 24th.

The servers will be operational before the game is out. DC, GC, and PSOBB all had people online before the game offcially went green.

Actually I think it will be the exact opposite. I think this is when PSU will be most busiest.

no...i mean...that usually on the first day of a patch...or the first day online...the servers arent too reliable

The first few days are always some of the best! Everyone's a noob and even though practically no one has any idea how the more in-depth gameplay stuff works, everyone's having a blast.

I concur. When nobody knows what they're doing and is figuring things out, and are just playing for the sake of playing (instead of power leveling, hunting for rares in the same areas over and over, etc.), that's the best time to play.
