Very true, my PS2 died not too long ago, of course my fault since it wasnt working right and i had whacked it a wee bit too much, and i dont wanna buy a controller for the pc since I wont use a keyboard and mouse for PS. It's the same Kurenai, but I forgot my password on that account, so here's a new one.

I was thinking of the actual Silver account, not the one month Gold Membership or whatever. All of the people I have come across that have silver accounts, or their one month free Gold Membership runs out, you cannot play games online. You can however, sit in the dashboard and talk with friends.

Maybe I'm thinking of something else.

It's not announced, just widely assumed that only Silver and Sega's monthly fee will be required to play PSU online.

It's been discussed before so just go with whatever conclusion you come to.

I won't be playing the 360 version because PSU is pretty much the only game on the 360 that I care for, and it's simply cheaper for me to upgrade my computer to run PSU smoothly than it is to buy a 360. Also I'm partially deaf so no voice chat is actually a positive feature for me. Reading this topic is pretty disapointing because there are some cool people who have posted here that I'd like to party with but won't be able to. It's such a shame that the PSOW community has to be divided like this... oh well. I hope you guys get a good, healthy community on the xbox 360, and I may join you someday if the 360 ever becomes a worthwhile purchase for my gaming tastes. (I'm not trying to diss xbox, but it lacks alot of japanese games and those tend to be the games I enjoy the most)

My favorite class has always been the Force, so my first character will be a Force again as allways. Depending on how long your character name can be, it will be some version of my gamertag: MysticMagica.

My second character will probably be a beast, as it is new. And with all new things you just have to try it out. Plus of what i have seen it does look interesting. Don't know what name this character will gonna get, but i presume either a beasty kinda name grrrwww or a japanese name. As with the last i just have a thing for all japanese related.

I just reserved my copy on 360 today. I havent played PSO since the dreamcast days (probably 4 years). I have no idea what my characters name will be or what class I'll play. This was his second one actually. Or perhaps his third, not sure never bothered to read the thread again after my first warning to him. Ill be sure to dig it up though to present it to the mod if he does act profanely again.

Back on topic. Its good to see xbox 360 peeps will have a good sized community at least, just dont play too much if your xbox's really do tend to melt like I been hearing everywhere.

I'm fairly sure you've never threatened me with a ban yet. Even if you have, I've gotten no such warning from an administrator.

I'm also fairly certain the decision falls on the Moderators as to whether or not I'm banned. Maybe if you stopped posting things that are obviously meant to agitate people in a topic about the 360 community, you wouldn't be recieved so negatively. I've been sworn at countless times but I don't go crying to the mods.

As for the melting, it's total BS (I didn't swear). It makes some noise, and the discs get warm, but only in EXTREMELY RARE cases have I heard of the disc melting, which is usually attributed to a console defect. I've never heard of the console melting down though.

On topic, since theirs alot of xbox 360 players here, is it really true the xbox will malfunction after long playing sessions? As in "melt" which people say. Trashed? I only retorted to the one whom flamed against PS2 users and players with Average to Low End PCs. Sides, I use a Xbox 360 controller myself on my PC, I dont exactly hate 360, but I dont like it when users of it think they are superior to those who dont either.

The overheating issues have been severely over-exaggerated. I've had mine since launch and there hasn't been anything wrong with it. The vast majority are defect free, and the ones with faults are replaced for free.

Well, the problem is I share my 360 with my uncle. Since we both used money for it(he gave a more significant amount), it stays at his house, but I'm more than welcome to play it when I want. However, the fact of the matter is, he's grown SUPER attached to the thing, and I havn't the heart to take it away from him, XD.

Instead, I'm just going to use his behemoth of a computer which he just leaves sitting there to play PSU. Another thing is alot of people I know are getting the PC/PS2 version(and I'm talking about real life too, Phantasy Star is surprisingly popular where I live), so I just decided to get the PC version.
