I've had the game for about a day now, and I've beat the VR Temple and most of the Spaceship, not counting the Gol Dragon...what I wanna know is, how much of Episode II have I already finished? I'd be a bit disappointed if there's only two more areas after those...After all, I expected to see new enemies, not just a mixup of the old ones for half the game.

As soon as you beat the "Golly," you're half way through.

Wow. That's...sad. No offline quests, and half the game with no new enemies except for bosses...I'm really starting to be disappointed in this one now.

Well~ that's how most "Append Disk" aka Expansion Set are.... It's literally "extension" of the original game, and it's specifically designed for people who can't be satified with the original's given contents....

[EDIT]: Spelling error....

True, but I'd seen advertisements, interviews, and such saying that it was going to be a true sequel. Heck, even the back of the box says it's a completely new full length adventure.

Don't get me wrong, though...I love all the improvements and the new levels I've seen. I guess I'd just set my sights a little too high.

Don't be surprised if sega have a few tricks up their sleeves. Some people have said that extra levels will appear over time 'tower??'.
This might be a rumour but would be a great idea and make sense for keeping players to the game!
There's also rumours of GBA games included in the game with Chao training and Nights.
I'm sure Sega will be writing a number of downloadable missions too. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Well I'm just glad some of the download quests from Episode I have been included on the disc. I never played those on my DC, so it's something to tide me through a bit...

*laughs* I wouldn't know, because I'm too afraid to venture into Episode II as a new player. I wonder if my level 27 FOmarl would stand a chance against those Love Rappies I've been hearing about. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

You should be fine with a character like that. If I'm nearly halfway through already, and I'm only level 17, you ought to be able to whiz through.

*nods* Maybe I should just cast shifta and deband and charge into 'em and bonk 'em on da head with my pole!!! Hoohah!!! *ahem* Okay, maybe I should just focus on techs... -.-;;

Well if you can do it at level 17, I can at 27! Here I go...!!

Techs rock in this new version anyway. So much more powerful than I remember them...Good luck!
