Extra mode

Ok so this question might be stupid but I will ask it anyway.

Is extra mode availible from the beginning in psu? or do you have to finish story mode? and if it exists fom the beginning does that mean that you have to finish things in story mode to get access to things in extra mode like missions and such?

Extra mode is avaliable after completing Chapter 4 in story mode. More content (missions, weapons,clothing, etc.) will become avaliable to extra mode as you complete more chapters in story mode.
