Parn, myself, and a friend of ours going by Luceid are starting new characters on Server 2 for shits and giggles. If you'd like to meet up with us we'll be on all weekend probably on Server 2 Universe 5 (to save on confusion). I don't hate Ranger http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif Man no one ever listens / bothers to understand what I type.

Basically I found the one way to play Ranger that breaks the PP dependency money sink that actually works decently. If you go one pistol + saber and get the PA you can knock enemies around while your pistol (that you are still equipped with, that is what is key) refills.

Also, Pistols are different from Dual Pistols and Rifles in that they recharge 13 PP a tick and only spend 6 per shot. Rifles and Dual only regen 11, and spend 8 per shot. It makes a large difference.

The negatives to this are obvious, one, you're not using any Ranger-only weapons. Two, you're spending a lot of time in melee range and that isn't how most people probably envisioned playing RANGEr. Basically this is for people who can stand being a psuedo-Hunter. Oh and as I'm playing this I notice something more. My DPS is rock bottom. There is an L6 FO with me doing more damage, while I am L12 with the best Saber I can use, and the 2,000 handgun. The 8,600 Handgun has like.. 20 more atp, so that is like 5 more damage a shot, maybe. ;_;

Anyways this is all besides the point. Get your asses in Uni 5, I'm starting a Rafon 1 right now and I might run it twice to help Ark level a bit on his new FO.
