? about Weap Synthisis

I have the board for svaltus sword and svaltus edge, Im one item away from being able to synth this weap,

My questions is, in the ingredients section , the top item has ????? next to it.

Does that mean i can use any type of that item? or does it have to be a specific one. And if it is specific, how would i go about finding out which one i need.

Look at the icon next to the ????, and see what synthesis items have that same icon in your inventory/storage.
Usually the top star-like icon on weapon synthesis boards correspond to Photon type materials.

oh ok, so if i understand right, the choice i make on the Star item will just determine what photon bonus it has , like ice or fire?

the one item im lacking besides that, is one of the items that looks like a little person. havent found it in a store yet, hopefully i'll find another one soon.

yeah i know :: blushes:: im at work now tho cant access.
but its usually the item at the bottom of the shop list, I'm not sure what each symbol represents.

I wonder if certain materials are avail more in certain areas? I havent payed much attention to what items im getting where, but that would make sense, example: wood found more often in wooded areas, etc.

For offline I'm completely unsure, I know that some friends of mine have been finding the Kubara Wood in Parum areas often, but I am having a hard time getting any personally.

I personally cannot read a lick of Japanese, so I've been comparing Kanji off PSUPedia's page here (http://psupedia.org/index.php?title=Synthesis_Ingredients) for all my synthesizing and it's worked out great for me.

Just curious, where'd you get the board for that sword, if you remember?

@DiosGX: Online, the board can be found in A Relics I think.
