From what I hear concerning the PC, yes, but I'm not sure about the 360, although all signs point to yes. I believe the free silver account is all that is required, correct me someone if I am wrong.

Getting Silver isn't hard....I mean you already have internet access....(Unless you're on a friends computer)

Actually, for PSU PS2 I do NOT need to be connected to the internet during offline play...

I would guess that the XB360 version will be the same.

yep game guard (the connection programme) is for PC only. the ps2 definatly doesnt need connection so xbox wont either. you can set up a silver account just by going on microsfts site.
