PSU weapon shops

I've noticed there is no new weaponry in the shops http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

I'm playing offline and the only weapons I've seen are canes, daggers, sabers, handguns, swords, spears, and the duel wield versions of sabers, daggers, and handguns.

When are new weapons supposed to show up >_>;;
Also, does a red X mean you can't equip an item or you can't equip it until you get the proper stats?

An X just means you don't meet the requirements. Either you need to change class or if you are the right class and it still has an X you just need higher stats to equipt it. Gain more levels and those X's will start disappearing. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I'm not too sure on this but I think you need to synth weapons to get "new" weapons which you can't find inside shops.

New weapons will show up as you get farther in the game. At chapter 8 you can buy claws, dual claws, and double sabers (in the GRM shop)

Where can I get 'recipe' boards?

some are available at the shop and others you have to find. most of the time, the recipe boards are from boxes in a stage but most of the rare ones are dropped by monsters.

Each town has a place to buy them. In the Guardian Colony it's the purple shop on the second floor. Idk the location of them in other worlds but I'd assume they were the purple shops you find there as well.
