Okay, currently playing the Japanese version offline and I just checked out the clothing shops on all the planets...

...

...PLEASE tell me that that isn't IT! I mean seriously, I can't find a single good top for my character!


So tell me, is there more clothing than just what I see in the shops? Do character race/height/class affect what clothes appear in the shops? Anyone know how much more clothing can be found in the wild or via crafting or possibly give me some hints on how I can get myself some better clothes?

i don't think race/height/class or whatever affect what you can wear, a hunter can wear the same things a force can wear or what a ranger can wear and vice versa, same with the different fleshie races. so far, i haven't seen anything that wasn't in the character creation in the flash, but I'm sure you can unlock more as you keep progressing through the game.

I believe this to be true as well. As far as being able to unlock and purchase more clothing throughout your progression in the game. I still haven't discovered the perfect outfit yet for my NEWMAN

I'm pretty sure that at a sooner time, they will. And I've looked at those clothes...how can you not find a good top for your character? Those look pretty cool....

I've got a question that's slightly tangential, but I don't think I've seen it addressed anywhere yet. If you choose the robot-type cast face, will you be able to change it at all? I know with the human-type face for casts you can change hair/accessories like all of the other normal characters. From what I've seen, with the robot-type face you choose a face and a hat/top/helmet part that I don't know the official name for.

Is anyone able to confirm what all you'll be able to change if you start with the robot-type cast face? I was planning on using one, so I hope you're able to change the not-face part of their head at least. :I

theres an npc that allows you to change your eye color, hair color, and some accessories for your head. i think you won't be able to change if you start as a robot type cast face because i don't think there's an option to change your face.

ahh yes seto kaiba, i thought that one looked like dante (dmc). classic sega suits would be cool as future releases, imagine sonic suits (like rappy but sonic and sonic cast), classic phantasy star suits (old ranger style for PS4), burning ranger suit, hehe a soniti head for cast that had a special PA that made u invincable and boosted yr stats like 250000+ LOL (ah the good old days).

Wow, can you say "upgrade over PSU"? Those clothes up there on PSUpedia look nice! Especially the cast parts. And the man thong, really, come on now, sound like Parn has a new outfit, lol. But aside of jokes, this improves it leaps and bounds over the four basic choices (aside of head piece and color) that you had in PSO. Damn I wish Oct 24th would hurry up... BTW, keep up the good work psupedia, you are really putting in a lot of good effort over there ^_^

Hmm i noticed that even after clearing Story Mode, the clothing options in Extra mode are far more limited compared to online mode. Is there some way to unlock more clothes in Extra mode aside from clearing Story Mode?

Yeah, this helps my worries a bit.

For those of you asking, no, these clothes are NOT avalible from the start (at least, not offline).

...and to the people saying "How can you NOT find something to wear? There's so many clothing options"? Umm...no there aren't. Not offline. ALL that Females have access to are short shorts and dresses that make them look fat and that's IT. Hence my worries.

I mean, I'm a fan of the whole Short Shorts and Sports Bra combo (what my girl is wearing right now), but I'd like some variety and it's good to see that it is indeed there ^_^


Now if only they could do something about the limited hairstyles/lack of hot pink hair/lack of big bouncey hats/lackluster proportion edit issues http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif (Yeah, I still prefer PSO'c character customization somehow. You can see how I chose to dress my Female Beast in my videos. I thought she looked pretty good, and those were just the starting clothes.

are the clothes in psupedia available in extra mode or just online? and on a second note, if so, I would really love that long white robe in the fifth column on the second row or that one in the top row in the far right on my human male hunter so I can make him look more like a samurai. I've heard rumors of Ethan Waber's costume being available for clothing online in the future... Hopefully they'll make Lou's costume, I like it (and I'm being a female cast)
so perhaps this is a "rare clothing" sort of thing.
