Tops, pants, and shoes are all interchangeable, in theory. It seems no matter what pants you have on, they won't bunch up or anything if you wear bulky shoes (this applies to males and females), but since I haven't tried every combination together in-game, I don't know if that's the case. That would bite if some combinations couldn't be made.

It really would have been nice if they showed all the colors for the male outfits...

I'm looking forward to seeing what parts look good with other parts instead of being cookie-cut. I guess that goes hand-in-hand with a game like this, though... everyone being free to choose what they like... (which doesn't always look good IMO...)

Some of the new cast parts for male and female look preety cool, I think what the problem is that the default color on those Casts, and pic size is what contributing to them not looking so great.

With some careful matching, and good color selection use of the primary and secondary color sliders, some of those "not-so-great" parts would probably look * alot* better on a Cast I think....

Agreed. Especially since there are some areas that are gray no matter what colors you select, choosing gray as the primary color will make them look more bland. I believe for male casts the options you can start with out of the ones on the screenshot posted are row 1 column 3, row 1 column 5, and row 2 column 3. Keep in mind you choose the arms/shoulders, torso, and legs seperately so you can mix those up if you want.

Well, no, it's not a coincidence that that dress looks like Alisa's, or that that robe looks like Lutz'. Phantasy Star: Generation 1 came out in what, 2003? They would have been... Starting on PSU then? Part-way through? So they decided 'Eh, what the hell, let's throw these outfits in PSU, they're cool enough'. Kind of odd that they'd pick *those* particular outfits, though, and not Alisa and Lutz' usual, more familiar outfits as I think that Alisa' normal outfit especially would fit in *slightly* better. Though, Lutz's normal outfit would be more out of place than this one, I think. But still, even in Japan that's going to be a little obscure. XD

It makes me wonder, though, if Tyrone/Odin's outfit there is available and nobody has found it yet, or if he once again gets absolutely no love. XD;;;

The trenchcoat is nice, so is the one next to it for the males.

I can see myself really having fun with all this customization.

One thing I don't understand... why is it that there isn't a tuxedo for the males but the females have wedding dresses?

I think the dress is based off of one of the chars from an old Phantasy star, as well as one of the males jackets, someone posted some comparison pics and they are spot on.
