How's the Music?

PSO music was incredible. What do you guys think of PSU music?

I've heard some of the music in the videos and it seems alright. Alot of the battle tracks sound awesome, but the more laid back in town songs just....ick...I don't like em XD

I think the PSU music is awesome. I even replaced some of the .ogg files on PSO:BB with PSU tracks.

I'll take it you mean the Save This World OST? I'll agree that it really sucks. The orchestrated versions of the city music are alright, but I still prefer the originals. The 3-disc full OST, For Brighter Day, comes out in October, and that should be infinitely better. It's a shame how Save This World misrepresents just how awesome a lot of PSU's music is.

From what I have heard, the music is freaking awesome. Parum Fields for example(or whatever it's called), is stuck in my head permenantly. In a good way.

Agreed. This music is EPIC. I have some tracks in a CD in my car right now (such a geek I know).

I still miss Burning Rangers and the adult Dreams, Dream though...

I like the Holtes city music, when they get to the piano part, it kinda sounds like the song that plays when you get to see Rico sitting by the Falz grave thingy, thats really the only reason why I like it =P Aside from that, the field music from moatoob is all jazzy and makes me happy, n' I luff all the stuff from Neundaiz

Anyway can't wait to have it =x I still gotta change my reservation to gamestop though so I can get the CD.. damn my hastiness

I'm almost finished with eps.5 on story mode and I have to say I love the music with the exceptions os some here and there (mostly the towns). Eps.4 where you fight the 3 rogues has some great music and it kinda riminds me of the mines music in PSO a little bit and it also has that same kind of atmosphere.

I think the theme song is flat out awful... maybe one of the worst tunes I've ever heard. The lyrics (especially the opening before the music gets going) are SO cheesy.

"With You" can roughly be equated to "Can Still See the Light". It's by far my favorite vocal track. Nothing really corresponds with After the Story 2 to my knowledge, though.

if you could imagine Hideaki Kobayashi at his greatest, as in Pso Episode 3 greatest, then imagine him not holding back with this soundtrack. It is the good quality we have known from Wave Master in Sonic Adventure and Episode 3 Card, ther is much listening pleasure to be had truuuuuust me :>

Hopefully they will have music disks kind of like PSO where you could change the music at will by using a disk. Disks 1-6 or 7 I think. They actually had people singing and what not on those. Is there any voice in the music in PSU so far, or is it all instrumental?
