Ya we seen media of it http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

but are there any particular limitations to how many received messages can be stored in your mail http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

and is there some trick or way to send a single message to multiple ppl?

can the messaging system substitute like "private Tells" or do you have to have their partner card to send them a private message?

ya I notice some chat bubbles have that "thinking cloud" bubble style you can use, but I think that's just a decoration and all ppl in range can see text in those bubbles since it's not directed towards anyone specifically, therefore not private or even personal. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

When you write a Simple Mail, you can address it to as many people on your Partner Card list as you want. I don't know about limits to what's displayed in your in-game message box, but the game logs all mail in a txt file.

As far as I know, there's no private-messaging system for people that you haven't exchanged cards with.

Unless you invite that person to join a party, and they accept, then you can use the party chat feature, where all text is only displayed to people in your group.

you can get different styles to your bubble to rempresent different emotions. You can also have different sounds playing. This is what the thought bubble looking thing is.

There is no private messaging system, and you need people's cards to message them, just like in PSO. The real problem is that people are identified by numbers and not by names, since names aren't unique. So you'd have to know their number, and if you know their number, then you probably could just walk up to them and get their card.

There don't really appear to be any limitations on the number of messages, of course, I don't message that often, so I don't really know.

The mass mailing can be quite annoying. Some people write a message and send it to everyone on their list, just because they can.

EDIT: And as the above post says, you two modes of chat. One that only your party can hear, no matter how far they are away from you, and another that only people within your vicinity can hear.

It is possible to mail to people you don't have the card of, if you're close to them in the city or if they're in the same party.

really? wow like how do you target them? oh right the party system sounds like it has some menu to send messages to any party member.

but how would that work with being the the city and close to them? does something in our menus temporarily register everyone in range and available for messaging?

In cities, you stand close to them, then press the main action button. As for parties, it's somewhere in the menu, yeah.

Considering the time and effort you're spending on here asking for thousands of random things, I'm quite surprised you haven't bothered to just get the game. >_>;
