Japanese PSO

I was planning on buying the japanese PSO but people keep telling me to wait until they rerelease the game without the duping bug. Should i wait? Will it happen or not?

Also, with the dupes on both the us and jp versions, is it likely that both the us and jp servers can be used at the same time?
