so i think it would be cool if PSU was more like that. Like every week or so you go to your room and your PM tells you "Good morning, master! But ya, it would mean that they would have to increase the amount of meseta that you get from missions and stuff but 'cause you also need to spend the meseta on taxes. And casts since they don't need haircuts if they're made of parts only they could have like a maintenance or something. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/burger.gif

And then think for buying food there could be a food store and we have to go buy things like chikcen and milk and cake etc http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif and if you dont eat enough things each day you lose stats until you eat. And well if you dont get your haircut or maintenance you will just be teleported to your room if you wait too long to get it and you'll be forced to spend the 5000 meseta and if you don't have that much the next 500 meseta you pick up will all go to the estee shop. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

Also this works really well for ingame weddings because think before you go to the wedding you have to cut your hair to look nice and also the people hosting the wedding have to buy enough food for the people that are going! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

So ya, I just thought this would be a cool idea to make PSU more realistic and it will increase the social aspect of the game.

No seriously, it wouldn't be very cool. I find that extremely annoying in big RPGs like this, There are already so many things to do, that would ruin it. Also you'd need to be on all the time, which isn't possible for most of us ( e.g. pay 100k meseta after 1 month because I was in hopsital... NOT COOL!). The weddings and random events, ok if their not too taken into the big thing of the game, but something you need to do repeatedly and timely isn't good.

I kinda dislike that idea. If you want to make it that way, then a lot would require changing. Where does the food come from? Where could people gather and eat together, other than in their own rooms? Who's going to make the food, and where? Will you die if you won't be eating? And so on and so forth...

If you want to add something like that, you have to think way deeper...otherwise it just gets awkward in my opinion. And in all honesty, that's too much of a hassle. PSU isn't a simulation really. Let's just assume that everybody has enough food and stuff in their pocket space, just like all the compressed weapons and stuff. That should work out for now. ^.~

sorry to go offtopic but in ffxi npc shops blow i seriously almost never buy things from npc shops.plus if they improved the shops they would potentially be dicking over crafters.

Yeah and incorporate real time destructible environments that are permanent and persistant, and you come back a week later and see scaffolding and little worker dudes up there reconstructing stuff. Things like that would be wonderful in PSU, but there is one little hangup. The PS2 version would explode.

To expand on the idea: We should add in illnesses to the game where you can't play your character for 'x' hours till he recovers. And also, the skill level on your weapons should reflect on how well you use them, and on level 1 you'd have a good chance of stabbing yourself in the leg or zonde-ing yourself in the groin.

Haircuts would be cool, but only in the sense that you can change your hairstyle. If your hair grew in game, that would be retarded. But if you got sick of your hair, and you wanted to change it, then that would be fine. As for food and taxes... why? There are already different usable items that give stat boosts.
