Game Size?

Ok, I read that this game was going to be about 9 gigs for the PC. What in this game makes it SO huge? Also, is the game going to be 9 gigs for the ps2 and xbox360? Because xbox360's HDD alone isn't that much. Will ps2 users need the HDD like they needed for FFXI or what? Sorry if there are duplicate threads out there. Thanks.

Fully installed the game's only roughly 5.25GB. Believe the PS2 version is 3.99GB on the dot. Can't remember though.

No HD needed for the PS2 version.

For me its about 5.17 gigs. But dunno, prolly more updates in the future to add on to the size.

Yea same my is 5.18gb and i think the ps2 is 3.99gb to cause they cant process much as the pc can now but yea it worth the space to get it...

though i got JP version im prettey sure it should be about the same size maybe a lil more cause of the english VO may be biggger then the JP VO..

but who knows

Well 360 users need a hardrive for FFXI too, but thats only because you dont ever use the disc, once you put it in you really just open your play online viewer and play from ther, the prvious PSO on xbox didnt need to be installed so i doubt PSU will.

I have FFXI on 360 but never was able to play without disk.. how does that work?

well atleast u didnt need the disk on the ps2 version cause i had it.

all u did after it was installed u just go into the HDD and select play online and brought the viewer up and u selected the game and played.
