I see no option for it in the config menu, and I've tried enabling it in my nvidia control panel and it does not want to work. This game is pretty, but I want the jaggies gone. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

No, no anti-aliasing. You can use as many pseudonyms as you like. OLOOLOLOLOLZOL

I haven't tried it, but does your card come with a way to force anti-aliasing in the display drivers?

Erm, why not just increase your screen resolution? Increasing the anti-aliasing won't do that much for a game that doen't support it.

All you have to do is disable application control of your full scene anti-aliasing and AA to your heart's content.

Edit: wow...doesn't work...

Doesn't work, there's been many of us who tried. Parn on his Nvidia card and me on my ATI card.. it's completley ignored even when you turn off Application Control.

That's a little odd, I think. I didn't expect the engine to be so different from PSO's; whereas, forcing Anti-Aliasing on PSOBB works just fine.

I didn't know that it didn't support it, now I do, lol. Time to jack up the resolution then.

Actually, it somewhat works but you don't really notice it when you play.
If you take some screenshots (one with and one w/o AA) you can see the difference if you zoom in.
Check it out: The left one is obviously with AA turned off while the right one is with AA @ 8xS
It looks like it works pretty well but it really doesn't.

You can't even force anti-aliasing? Never had a game do that to me that I can recall. Quite lame.

I've had games that required something akin to Rivatuner or ATITools to force the Anti-Alias. Just messing with the drivers posed no results.

Seeing as I don't have PSU right now I can't play around with it. However, I'm sure there's a way to force it through some combination of techniqes I've used in the past for 'difficult' games.

I dunno. I hope you're right, but uhawww posted that s/he was unable to force it even with 3rd party apps.

I also tried with Rivatuner to no avail.

Maybe the AA doesn't work because PS2 doesn't support fullscreen AA? This game was written initially for PS2 although there's no reason why they couldn't include it for the PC version...

Oh well, doesn't bother me.

Definitely bothers me. I want to have antialiasing. Not a huge deal, but I'd certainly prefer to have no jaggies.

If someone is able to figure out a way to force it, be sure to let us know.

I have AA8x on and it looks much better as well as the AF to 16x. Tried model detail on full and it looks beautiful (better than ffxi etc) but it lags, so back down to 40ish and still looks purty.
