Buying the game/key for Japanese servers.

Hello.

I apologise if this question have already been posted.

I would like to know if someone that actually play on Japanese servers could guide me on where to buy an activation key for PSU. (or have I to buy the game in import ?)

Hopefully I should manage to make my way through the registering process, I just would like the site where I can buy the key and where I have to create my account.

I don't think you can buy the CD key* itself and download the game. You can buy a copy at http://www.play-asia.com

In all common sense, the key & whatever number should come with the game when you buy it.

Your keycode is on the rear of the manual inside the box.

Unfortunately there no (official) way to just buy a code and download the software. Sega do offer a download for the PC version, however, you need a login name and password - which is comprised of snippets of your personal key. It's been designed solely as a way to help users out who have bought the retail box and are having problems with the DVD install.

Perhaps in the future they'll make a buy+download type service like Blue Burst.

And sorry for the stupid question, last MMO I bought was freely downloadable on their site but we needed to buy the CD Key and to create an account to play.

So, I guess the creation of my account will be done when I will install and connect to the game the first time.

For the Japanese version, you must first have registered a Sega Link account (later this will be your PSU login information, too). You can do this by going here (if you do not get a big form type webpage, click the blue button on the page with just two form boxes):

PSOW has some help for those not fluent in Japanese. It references the 'old' Sega Link signup page, but the layout and process is exactly the same. Infact, you can actually still use the old page by using http://segalink.jp/addmember/regist.asp to sign up, but I can not vouch for its reliabilty (I'd signed up for a Sega Link account before this rehashed version existed, using the old page).

Once you have a Sega Link account, and a key from the retail package, you go to this link, sign in, and append the PSU code to your Sega Link account:

Your Sega Link ID and password will become your ID/pass for PSU.

Edit : Oops, already a problem, the question about where I live, it seems there are only japanese areas.
