While we're on this subject. Anyone have any suggestions for a PS2 keyboard? I have no idea what to get. I know logitech makes a smaller keyboard or something. Not sure if it's any good though.

I got my usb keyboard from the ebgames/gamestop site http://www.gamestop.com/search.asp?N=139+88 . Just go under ps2 then accessories and it's only 10-100 $ +shipping depending on which one you got, usually the video game shops don't carry keyboards or at least the ones around my house don't. I just got the cheap 10$ one and it got pretty good reviews.

I got my keyboard for $5 at a mom & pop computer store. Yes, anything will work as long as its USB. I had a friend who used his Mac keyboard. Getting an extension cable isn't a bad idea either.

An extra long (or extension) cable is definitely the way to go. The original keyboard, released and available in accordance with the PS2 EQ MMO (EQOA), had a cable that was way too short. Especially in accordance with the longer controller chord, making keyboard disconnections frequent, and frustrating.

Would the above Wireless USB KB work with the Slim PS2? I hope so, I really would rather use a wireless KB for PSU, I am *really* tired of F#%!ng cords!

I use a Wireless KB...

Works great, any USB keyboard should work absolutely fine.

The Logitec one is good and its only $9.99...

This one (http://www.ebgames.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=801604)

Great weapon against the wyverns in Monster Hunter.

This is the one I use with my slim ps2. Takes some getting use to, but now that I have, I can't use a regular controller anymore. The small controllers now makes it feel all cramped up.

Nah. Gunlance > Keyboard.

Okay really, how stiff are the keys? My Gameshark (damn cheater company) Powerboard had stiff keys that would sometimes be a pain in the ass to type on, especially while fighting the wyverns. (and in case it matters, I am having no touble typing on this PC keyboard right now)

I can see how typing could be comfortable with this...but it looks like it would seriously adversely affect the actual playing of the game. At least, it would kill my ability to play Monster Hunter since my left hand often goes on the D-pad and my right hand on the left analog. But that's MH. Would PSU be just fine with this controller?
