Build in Techs?

I have an Interview with one of the game Creators and about 2 mins in he talks about 5-6 hit combos. Then goes onto saying you can Build techs into weapons?! such as his example a weapon that shoots fireballs or one with lightning around it?! anyone know what he means exactly?

i tink it means u put tech disks into weapon and habe weapon out to use those techs hope this helps

He's just talking about both Force weapons. You have to attach the Techs you want to cast to the weapon before you can actually cast them. This goes for all of the Photon Arts in the game... you have to attach them to the weapon you want to use them on.

3 basic attack, and up to 3 photon art sections. Using them in succession would give you 4-6 different attacks, depending on your weapon of choice. You can equip skills and techs to weapons now. I'm not sure of the weapon skill limit, but the tech limit is 2-4 per weapon.

By 5-6 hit combos he just means button presses. The highest combo i've seen from a melee weapon is 16 hits so far. As Biku said.... 3 basic attacks then 3 Photon Art attacks. But the actual animation for it is two slashes/two slashes/three slashes/three spinny slashes/two spinny slashes/four spinny slashes.

Melee weapons and guns only get one slot for a Photon Art. Wands have 2 slots for Techs and Rods have 4 slots.
