Preferably without any sort of watermark or logo stuck on it. I downloaded it from the original, original site when the game was first announced, but I lost it some hard drive reformatting ago. I'd like to have it once again, if only for posterity.

You may already have it, but I ended up archiving the 320x240 version. The 640x480 version had a lot more pixelation due to improper encoding on Sonic Team's part... they should have had a much higher bitrate for playback than they did, considering each frame was being drawn by four times the pixels. Felt it better to archive the higher quality video, heh.

I've pretty much kept a full archive of all the official videos released by Sonic Team on their website since 2004 here (http://synbios.net/games/PSU/videos/). It's neat to see how things have progressed.

Did you already check IGN.com?

Ah, thanks Parn; the 320x240 will do, then. And, ProfessorZ, I get the feeling anything IGN has will have their logo stamped on it, so that's really not an option.

Speaking of the E3 2004 trailer, I've ripped the beginning piece of music that plays up until 0:54 as it seems to be the only piece of music that is 'missing'. As in, I'm not hopeful it will appear on the "For Brighter Day" 3-CD set, seeing as it has been cut from "Overture" - which is the rest of the 2004 trailer music - and just for my own geeky completeness' sake. Perhaps it's been cut and put somewhere else in the game or OST, but I'll just have to wait and see as I haven't come across it, yet.

I've been hording a lot of development things and snippets like this to make a little PSU development 'changelog' page chronicling possible cut things and changes made to PSU over time until the legendary retail version 1.0 that we know now.

If anyone (dunno, maybe someone?) wants the little bit of music, you can grab it here (http://www.badongo.com/file/1477949).

It's also in the original Flash movie that was on the PSU website in 2004, but in terrible quality quality compared (super fuzzy 16kbs).

Hmm. I think I might be rambling on a bit too much about something that amounts to 37 seconds of music..

If it's any consolation, I'm irritated by the missing segment myself.

is it this one you're looking for?

Only 320x240, but it's without a water-mark.

Totally useless trivia, but, something I've just noticed browsing this (http://www.geocities.jp/pusu_jam/) Japanese PSU site. The "Overture" music has made a reappearance (still lacking the opening though).

It's being used in this (http://www.geocities.jp/pusu_jam/m/psu_cm_l.avi) recent Japanese PSU commercial. Featuring a young lady sobbing herself something silly as a planet explodes in the background. As you do.

That first 54 seconds actually seems to be a sort of mini-remix of "The Whole New World". It's most noticeable with the piano riff at the end, there. I don't really think it's an intro to Overture so much as it is an entirely separate piece.

A small part of Overture made it into the final game itself--specifically right at the beginning with Ethan on his hoverboard. It's a very small piece, though.
