Night at the Clyesbury---Clubbin' in PSU

I just finished gnawing on this intriguing little bit of information: you can go to nightclubs in PSU's Network Mode. Now I won't go into how awesome my (probably non-existent) lightstick skillz are going to look augmented with newman pyrotechnics, but perhaps I'm rejoicing prematurely.
I'd basically just like to know what the importers' experience has been with these aleged clubs. For those of you curious as to which info prompted this random outburst, see below:



The missions in the multiplayer mode have also been enhanced with further customized and more robust missions, and the lobby spaces have expanded ten-fold for players to chat, emote, shop and visit nightclubs.

The only bar so far is on moatoob, and aside from a story event, nothing happens there. Moatoob isn't open for network mode yet. There is a bar in clyez city, but its not open yet.

The club's actually in Clyez City (Guardian's Colony) 3F, but it's been closed so far. So, basically, I don't think anyone has actually had an experience with them.

Unless it was open in the closed beta? I doubt that, though, pictures (preferably scandalous) would have leaked by now.

They're not open. Speculation is that they're going to be used for events. Whether that means full-on story NPCs or just random meaningless fluff events, nobody has much of an idea.

You'll see the sign and entrance for the club on Gaurdians Colony when PSU comes to english. We may be waiting awhile i recon..

I also saw on a video or screen shot some sort of onsen, I think it would be just good to have just be cool to have such places for just "waste" time.

City of Hero has a club, its only open for special events.

Lets hope they don't play rap music, as if they don't play that stuff enough.

I am not sure that rap fits well PSU. But maybe we will have different clubs, and hopefully other place, with different musics and atmosphere.

Maybe we will have some Asian style tearoom on Neudaiz which would fit the general look of Ohtoku city. Maybe some more occidental looking clubs in Holtes city, with kind of pop music. And so on.

Each towns already have their own original identity. It would be just great to make them wider by adding new places every now and then.

I hope we get stuff like: "Bring me 5 Rappy feathers, and I'll give you something nice" and it ends up as a really rare weapon or something. It would be cool. Or some events could open up new missions, like a genetically mutated being in the Relics and you have to find it or something, and then there will always be this species in Relics. Itmwould be awesome. As for rap in nightclubs... not gonna happen unless possibly on the 360 with the music on your HDD. thats probably the only way. anyway the idea sounds interesting...

It'll be great if we can get drunk in the clubs. Even though I hate the game, being able to get drunk in WoW was easily my favourite feature! During my very brief time with that game, my Paladin was constantly drunk even on difficult quests and dungeuns. I doubt it'll happen in PSU, but if we can get drunk, I'm gonna get wasted and then head straight into battle before it wears off. It's the next best thing to being able to get stoned in a videogame. (San Andreas has some pretty good stoned effects)
