I've seen some people asking for videos of the techniques in the game, so I made a video comparing the lvl 1 techniques to the lvl 30. Enjoy!

freaken awsome... cool thing is looks like more than just th Forces or whatever can use them beacause its linked to the specific weapon used.

^ That's extra mode, not exactly a force. And only force and expert type hybrids of force can use techs. So, you need some force in your character to have techs and equip them to the weapon.

Nice video, but... some of those might not have been level 30. When he used Rafoie it leveled up to 27, for some reason.

And Nosudeega was definitely messed up. I've used Level 1 and it definitely didn't have that MissingNo. effect on it. At least, not on PC, anyway.

Sigh, I guess I have a defective disc or my ps2 isn't quite what it used to be...after all...it is a launch day console from back in 2000 lol. But I thought that it looked mighty strange because on psupedia it said that nosudeega sends serpents after the enemy....and I was like what kind of serpents are those?? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

And I'm sure everything else is lvl 30...I just left the rafoie because I took the clip from when I was only thinking of making a video and wasn't sure if I wanted to put in the effort. But I ended up liking that particular clip because it shows it far away, and then it shows it up close and how it blows the enemies away.

Great, so on top of waiting for the game like everyone else, I have the added anticipation of the For Brighter Day soundtrack. Funny how that (1st) song isn't in the two I own already...

This video solidified my choice to be a Newman fortecher. I think I'll be focusing mostly on the gi-techs seeing as that they can attack all around you and do the most damage. I remember how forces on PSO with lvl 30 gifoie could clear out a room as quick as any lvl 170+ hunter. And I was suprised to see all those damu-, nosu-, and other things. Some of them looked pretty useless.

Also, can anyone identify some of those support techniques? (Like the rings that floated around your body.)

Yea there is nothing wrong with the PS2 ver....it's just once you play one of the other versions, you can't go back to the PS2 ver XD. (I played the 360 beta now its difficult to look at the PS2 graphics lol)

Yea that's one of the neat things about PSU. You can pick and choose which spells you want. So if you decide eto skip a spell, you could learn a weapon skill or gun skill. Not sure that I would deem any of the spells useless, as some of them you probably just have to learn how to use. ( Just like at first rafoie seemed to make gifoie useless in PSO but once you learned how to use gifoie it had some great purposes.)
