OK, here we go. My take on HUcasts. I'm bored so I feel like being helpful.

Now here's my take on it (pared from IRC as I can't be arsed typing it all again.)

Rght now I'm a HUcast. Level 35, Hunter 9, now compared to my similar level beast they are both excellent HUs. The nanoblast does mean for better time on clearing an area, but the damage on a beast with shotgun is 0 so many times that flying monsters are a pain in the ass.
IMO cast is as good at being a HU as it is at being a RA, so I'm making this character a dual classer.
