therer are 3 starting classes and 4 races. so like which race starts as what?

I know you start with 100 meseta to change classes if you want to, but what are the default classes for each race?

I would think Casts start as Rangers, Beasts start as Hunters and Forces start as Newmans.

hmmm maybe Humans start as Hunters?

Hmm... I am 99% sure humans are hunters...

I started a newman today, but i was on lunch... It might have been a force, but it started with the same saber/handgun combo as every other class, so I am not really sure. When I get home from work I will let you know, unless someone else beats me to it.

oh okay. thanks. ya I find it funny the beginning of online doesn't feature a direction option to choose which class you wanna start as?

maybe the whole 100 meseta thing is to encourage players to discover and learn how and where to change classes if they want to. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

If you make a char. do they all start with saber/handgun combo and 100 mesetas? or do newmans start with wands, etc?
Well, My origiginal plan is to use a handgun/saber combo in the begining to save up for decent techs..

Everyone starts with 5 monomates and a saber/handgun. The brand of your starter weapons corrosponds to your race as well

Human - starts as hunter with a GRM sword
Newman - starts as force with a Youmei wand, and foie already learned
Cast - starts as ranger with a GRM rifle
Beast - starts as a hunter with a Tenora fist weapon

You do not start with any meseta

oh so in addition to saber/handgun, they also get either a sword, wand, rifle or knuckles!

well technically, you saber/handgun combo you start with, are your mesetas..if you know what I mean http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif
lol

PS: Should'nt Newmans start with like 3 of those PP recharging cubes? Is GRM like the basic brand of weps? What if my sister makes a newman thats going to be a hunter..can she delete foie? so she can make room for rising strike or whatever those saber PA's are...

lol

Everything you start with sells for about 1 meseta http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

If you learn 35 skills as a Newman, your 36th will ask if you want to overwrite something and you get get rid of foie that way

Each manufacturer has its own strengths and weaknesses. GRM is the most balanced, while Youmei is more skewed towards extra photon points and Tenora Works more raw attack power.

attack power all the way, photon pts. are the fuel for the powerful skills,

but for a Hunter,

I feel attack power is overall more important because when the photon pts. runs out, you'll have to rely on the power of normal attacks, or switch to another weapon. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif so ya GRM and Tenora will be my preferred brands.

Oh, so you don't start with any meseta? Ah well, no biggie, should be able to collect 100/200 meseta (however much it takes to change your job at level 1) just by soloing the first mission, right?

And how long does it generally take to make your first three levels? If it's not too long, then my RAnewearl can just get to level 3 FO first anyway since I plan to make her a Guntecher.

you can get to lvl 5 in about 30 mins in one mission.

Job level is extremly slow at the start, you'll be around level 11 base if not higher by the time you hit job 2
