Imported PC - help logging in

I set up my segalink account and got the confirmation e-mail and everything, but when I try to sign in for offline mode some error message (061) pops up and allows me to either try again or to go back to the main menu.

When I try to sign on for online, some small message comes up that won't go away, and won't let me get out of it, I have to CTRL+ALT+DELETE

I play PSO online so I don't think I have connection issues.

I believe the SEGA link servers are actually undergoing maintenance at the moment. Right now there's a big maintenance period happening where they're also updating the game with new missions and areas. It should be completed around 4 AM EDT.

Normally, even during maintenance you should be able to log in to play Story and Extra Modes, however, as I said before, they're also tinkering with the SEGA link servers as well.

Guess I'll have to give it a try after classes tomorrow.

Offline works for me. Perhaps Sega wouldn't let you play it because you don't have the current updates? The server maintenence should be done in 3 more hours.

It is possible you could still get in. The Sega Link servers are not so much absolutely down as they are unreliable to connect and authenticate to.

I figured it was some sort of free trial, but usually things like this make you give CC info anyway and just start charging after the trial. That's cool though.

I know, I was a bit confused as to how that would work myself. Maybe with the english version(since they are using the same payment system as PSOBB) will work more along the lines that you were originally thinking.

EDIT2: Damnit. Now it's patched to version 1.004 (give or take a 0, I don't remember) but I'm getting the same errors again when trying to log in.
