View Full Version : Getting owned up on Moatoob.

Anyone else getting hit with silence, defense down, attack down, and elemental status ailments with a greater than 60% chance of effect, and is anyone else finding that these ailments last upwards of 2 minutes?

Just to be clear, this is a LV12 char on a LV10 C-Rank mission.

Is this Gurhal-wide, or a pleasant regional anomaly unique to Moatoob?

I find the new relics area at A rank tougher since Jarbas spawn like crazy near the end and you never know when those megid spells will kill you in 1 hit.

Just made me think: Does a higher MST protect you against megid? Or do you need armour/unit with good dark resistance?

Anyway, sounds good. It's not much fun going through the game if you just slaughter everything.

knownoes, in offline higher MST and dark resitant stripes do stop a LOT of megid's (ive only been killed once by ALOT of megid blasts (nearly every enemy in HIVE seems to chuck megid at you except the little pannon things)

Not very fun if you're a ranger lol. I brought 2 rifles, 2 twin guns and a gun & saber and I ran out of ammo halfway through the mission because damn bugs have insane evasion.

Megid flying around everywhere doesn't sound like much fun to me, but at least they should be easier to dodge in PSU.

You would think, but damned if I wasn't extremely frustrated with never being able to unload on enemies since I was spending so much time dodging Megid.
They usually never put just one of those guys in a room...
Megid in PSU kinda throws you off too, because if they hit and fail to kill you, they do under 100 damage. I've been lulled into a false sense of security a couple times when fighting to get to the Gol Dolba.

hmmm seems hard. glad to hear this though cause itll make teh game more interesting when playing it. of coarse though i have a strong feeling i will be cursing everytime im silenced and cant do any technics.
