PSU Mobile?

Based off of this thread's link translation:

I noticed that at the bottom of the page it mentioned something called "PSU Mobile". This was followed up by a butchered translation T_T.

Does anyone have any info on this? Is it some sort of character manager you can do from a cell phone? A mini game of sorts? Something else?

Curious if anyone has any info to expand on this (and if it will be limited to JP markets or worldwide).

It's a service SonicTeam offer for JP cellphones where you can get updates on in-game additions (new items, for example) as well as view your character's stats and partner cards among other things from your cellphone.

That will never happen outside japan. I hate square-enix for removing multiplayer in FFVII DoC outside japan(I know a bit out of topic)
