Live Marketplace won't put up the demo for download until maybe 12 p.m Monday.

and that's if its released Monday, it might get released Tuesday, a week long beta test doesn't have to last for exactly 6-7 days.

Xbox360 players are supposed to get a demo for PSU on xbox live marketplace. Marketplace is a program on the xbox360 that allows you to download games directly to the xbox360.

sorry to break yoru guys's hearts, but if it comes out, its going to be a demo on the 360, with the 360 you dont get like game demos on cd, you can just download them strait from xbox live, so when the demo comes out we just have to go to the xbox live marketplace and download it.

Right. OXM can still buy the rights to distribute a game demo only on their demo discs, however, all the other demos go straight to the marketplace.

I highly doubt OXM would do something that ridicolous(spelling?). One of the main reasons that I love the 360 is the sheer fact that you can get demos, games and all sorts of things faster and much more easier through XBOX live marketplace.

FFXI did get a demo. If a PSU demo were to be released for the 360, it'd be on the exact same terms as FFXI was. You can call it a beta, but there really isnt much to test - it's ultimately a demo.

We don't know yet. Considering that there are very few action RPGs on the 360 and much less online ones, I wouldn't be surprised if the title does ok.

Sega has been very good about releasing demos on the Marketplace so far. Actually all their US releases so far have had demos available ahead of the release (except for Condemned being a launch game), including Sonic.

The supposed mail to retailers Orange Lounge Radio got their hands on says so. Now I don't put
that much stock in OLR (they were the ones that started the "no online fee for Xbox 360 PSU) but it still may show up. A lot of content goes up on the Marketplace without being announced ahead of time.

The "closed beta for US PC" was distributed to maybe 100 people total, according to Jon_F who has posted videos from it, most of whom are in the videogame journalism industry. Not to stomp any hopes and dreams or anything (I'd like to see a demo too), but there was never any reliable source saying that there would actually be a demo.
