Ditto. I haven't read a game magazine since I used to read Nintendo Power 10 years ago.

lol. I'll read mags but not their reviews/scores/etc/stupid opinions. I stoped reading revies ever since The Bouncer (IGN changed the score) and stoped completely since Beatdown Fist of Vengence.

I dunno... sometimes it's fun to see what stupidity they say... One that I like these days is Play magazine . There is a lot of japanese game reviews and also, an anime section (with previews and reviews)... Video games & anime in a single mag, I can't go against it.

I'm too picky of an anime fan to read magazines about it.

I also cannot stand subtitles. Yeah.

I'm a horrible otaku. (I am not one at all.)

Heh, I think EGM is on the burner. I don't know why they treat their readers like crap and do smart remarks to people who mail them.

To me, Cowboy Bebop will always be the end-all, beat-all anime series and Akira the best anime movie.

Cowboy Bebop will always be number one. Best anime ever...and DBZ http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

First 2 seasons of pokemon was hardcore but after the movie the series gone soft that I can't stand looking at it. I still got my cards though.

I saw Akira when I was a kid so I can't remember a lot about it other than seeing a boobie, a red bike, 2 brothers, and a ION CANNON (for the C&C fans) being shot at a dude and chick riding the kick A bike.

I liked DBZ when I was a kid. Now that I'm older, nostalgia is pretty much the only draw there.

I never got into Pokemon except for the first two games, Red/Blue. I have yet to play any of the later games or watch any of the anime whatsoever.

I liked Akira for all the badass shit Tetsuo got to do before he transformed. Unlike in DBZ, where shit like blowing up mountains and flying is commonplace, in Akira it was still completely amazing.

1up is prety much egm online, so yea its is the same artical ^_^

and ofcourse we know better about pso/psu cause we are hard core, stop and think, you guys are saying that mags know nothing about pso/psu on a PSO/U fan site. the average gamer doesnt know that 300hrs dosent make a vet. and if they herad 1000+ then they might think "it takes that long to get good? im not getting it" all in all they can be VERY general about games cause they go through so many. it is like some of us going onto a Halo2 fansite and asking what is BXR. you would get laffed at and called a noob -_-

and lastly i like Too many anime to adiquatly state, but right now im whatching Genshiken, naruto, and bleach. but i will tell al of you something... NEVER EVER WHATCH IKKI TOUSEN... i thought it was a joke, then by the end of the episode i had already thrown up in my mouth it was so awful. even if you like fanservice and pantie shots stay FAR away fron this one

So true.
You all have to understand that those articles are not meant to satisfy a game's fan-base, but to inform people that this and that game exist.
We had so much fun, and played with so many people, we always think that PSO is well-known.
But it's wrong. Really, really wrong.
Go online on any game and ask players if they know about PSO.
Maybe 1 out of 10 will say yes.
I experienced that on DAoC, AC2, WoW, MxO and AO. Maybe more people playing on an asian online game (like RO or RFOnline ) will know about it, and I'm not so sure about it either.

Those articles are useful for getting new (and then more ) people into a game. It's useless to flame them because they say things you already know: the article isn't directed to you http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif
And even if they're wrong on some games, by now all articles I read are quite positive on PSU, and that's a really good point.
The more people who'll play it, the better it'll be for all of us http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif (and to get new stuff from ST http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif )
