Beta Size

How big do you thimk that the beta will be. I reckon that it will be 4 gigs.

The PC beta came on a DVD, so that means greater than 700MB and less than 4.5GB. Pretty wide range, actually... I would figure on it being less than 2GB. Even that much would be an unreasonable download, especially for a game console.

for me a 1bg takes about 30 mins for me...i noticed things dl way faster for me on live than any computer ived ever used

I haven't downloaded any demos yet, but most of the trailers I've downloaded (excluding E3 on Halo3 day. I swear I thought Xbox Live was on fire >_>) have taken a good 35 minutes or so.

I'm just going to DL it before I head out for school, so it should be done by the time I get home.

If it means anything, the installer for PSU JP that I have is 5.1 gigs, and the program folder installed doesn;t differ much from that o_O

For me it depends on...well Im not too sure. But I downloaded smackdown the other week, almost a gig I think, took 30-40 min, while fifa 07 took....like 3 freakin hours!

saints row took 30 minutes raw vs smackdown took like all day and i waited 3 hours on nfs carbon never finished so i canceled it

I don't know what's been up with Xbox Live recently. Arcade games download speedily as ever for me (fast for their size), while all of the demos I've tried to download, have taken improportionately long amounts of time to download.

It'll probably take all of the two days it'll be available, to download the demo of it, for me. :/

naw not pc but internet connection. yoru downloads speed are based on the type of internet speed you have.

I wonder if the beta will be the full 100% game, of if they will leave out some of it to make it shorter.

wow it only takes me about 15 minutes to dl a 1 GB game sometimes on my cable connection... hopefully it wont take forever to DL this beta whenever it decides to come out...
