Hey I never played the online version of pso, but I played offline co-op with my friends all the time. I personaly am gonna pay the $10 a month because my birthday is comin up and it will give me spending money. My friends on the other hand live in my neighborhood and are not goin to get the game unless they can play co-op offline to avoid the fee. Is offline strictly 1 player or can you have co-op?

There is no offline multiplayer for this game. Co-op or otherwise.

Any multiplayer interaction will take place in the online portion of the game.

Well, I think you get the first month free when you buy the game, so that could be some incentive.

Don't go eat at your local burger shop for one day, and tada, you should all have enough money for one month of online gaming.

Or instead of going to see the latest movie in the theaters, just rent the film after some week, when the DVD is released. Unless we're talking about the newest Batman feature or the Transformers movie, then I can totally understand it that you would want to go see these when they premiere. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

9.99$ a month is roughly 33.3cents a month.

a homeless dude could pay your PSU bill, if he felt like it

that is *IF* he was generous enough.

and God knows that Jack Skunk the neighbourhood hobo needs money more than you do

I found offline multiplayer to be very fun.
I' dissapointed that psu won't have it. I have a few friends who do not have good internet connection, and i was hoping to play with them

I never really tried Offline Multiplayer on PSO....mainly because I was introduced to PSO thanks to BB, XD

Offline multiplayer was alright for a little while, but you couldn't do hunters guild missions and the camera angles the game had made the split screen that much more difficult so see what was happening.

Ah I see....well, in terms of confusing camera angles, nothing can beat the extremely confusing multiplayer camera angles of Zone of the Enders, XD.

On topic: If done correctly, I think Co-op could've been very do-able.
