Modifier keys for gamepads?

Does PSU support modifier keys, say using the 2nd L+R trigger to switch the buttons to pre-set text commands, like heal me!, and such like that.

Oh! I'd like to know this as well for the X360 but there's not X360 version out yet so I couldn't ask....
I don't want to use the X and Y button to attack!
