Stupid question - Character import

This is going to be PSODC all over again... isn't it? There won't be any way to port our previous-version characters over to the new version will there?

You wont be able to do anything of the sort, you'll only be allowed to move chars from ps2 > Pc and that's it, no previous chars from any other game since this is entirly a different game http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Technically, you won't even be moving characters between PS2 and PC, since they will reside on the same server anyway. You will just be able to access them from either platform.

I seriously doubt that since this is a brand new game from the ground up.

Why would you expect to be able to transfer characters from a previous game. This is an entirely new game
