Ok I have all 3 systems and I was wondering which one to get it for.

Xbox360 pros and cons:
-I have a 34" HDTV (1080i)
-Xbox360 can have music going while I'm playing
-Xbox360 controller
However
-I'm scared I'm going to have noone to play with

PC:
-Monitor Play
-I have an X800XT I'm not sure how good it'll look
-No controller
However,
-A couple of my friends are getting it for the PS2
- I think I'll have plenty of people to play with

Help me.

Your PC should be fine if your cpu is good and your ram is good. Like, 3.0 ghz and a gig of ram. I have a 3.4 ghz and a gig of ram, and X800 mobility... Mine's a laptop, so the vid card is slightly slower than a desktop version, but I can play Oblivion and Battlefield 2, and a bunch of other games just fine. So PSU shouldn't be any problem.

However, the 360 is... well, I dunno. I like the graphics, but I dunno if the graphics will be that much different since the game is on all three platforms.

Well the Demo will be out tomorow and you'll be able to see if you like the 360 version. Haha I never thought about the Japenese people on server I'm going on their server and going be like I can't believe you bought a 360 and ask million questions.

PC,Friends and probably more ppl to play with is for me more important than the graphic. I assume that your PC can handle PSU.

360 also has region free free servers so you can play internationally, PS2 and PC can only play with North america and europe. but on that same noite how many people in japan will have and xbox to play? Not many is my guess. there seems to be alot of people playing the 360 version so its not like the servers will be empty. On the other side the PC users get to play with the PS2 users. The negative is the have to play with the PS2 users.

Why do folks believe there'll be so few folks on X360? There won't be any fewer than there will be on PC/PS2, I'll bet the # of players will be quite comparable.

Well, first of all there WILL be people on the 360 version so don't worry about that. And second, you can use a wired 360 controller for your PC by plugging it into a usb port.

I think if your friends are going to be on PC/PS2 then you should get that version. And you could play with me. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

There will be people on the 360 PSU. Don't worry about that. I'm going to be playing the 360 verison myself. Here's the questions are some better questions to ask yourself.
How do you feel about voice chat? (Personal I wish it wasnt there.)
How bad do you want to play with your friends that ya know?
How much will you miss live? (The best thing about the 360 is live, hands down.)
Console or PC?

PC Specs:

A64 3500+ (Winchester core)
X800XT
1 Gig of Corsair
Audigy 2 ZS

I think my computer can run this game fine. The japanese and American servers on the 360 I did not know about that so that helps my decision.

I wish my friends had a 360.

Lol, same here. The only reason i am gonna play PC is because my buddy doesn't have a 360.

The 360 version will have players. The FFXI turnout proved that one. For me, I'm really excited to play this in widescreen.

I knew I would be getting a widescreen monitor soon, so I'll definitely use it for PSU. It's not like it wont get adequate use. If it were some game other than PSU, I might not see the same worth of getting that monitor.

I'd say, go with your preference, when you see the facts in front of you. There are plusses and minuses to each, but some features are the stuff *you're* looking for the most. Go with that one, you wont be disappointed.

my goodness how could u even doubt the 360 version?? Of course there'll be people on it.. most of the hype i've seen has all been mostly for the 360.. why not take advantage of the next gen of gaming that you invested in??

jeez whats wrong with you people??

There are going to be plenty of people on 360. I for one will be playing 360 and remember that you can be hooked up to someone internationally.

Voice chat is the main difference. I am glad 360 has voice chat as I would not want to type in the middle of a battle.

Most of the people who say 360 won't have anybody on it are usually just "M$" haters. lolz..

I don't think the 360 version is going to have any problem with population.

I would go with the PC version personally... Also if your HDTV has DVI you can use that as your monitor. If you have friends playing on PS2 that's even more of a reason not to go with 360. Why would you choose to play with random people when you can play with RL friends (not saying in game friends are bad but I love playing with RL friends). The only plus I see to playing on 360 is widescreen (which better be updated for pc). Voice chat is cool but it's not like you cant use vent or TS to do the same thing. ANyway I would much rather type than talk with voice chat. I was always annoyed by it on the original Xbox and was annoyed with certain people in WoW. Also the 360 controller works fine on PC (it's what i've been using for the import). You can also shut off the BGM in game and have itunes or winamp playing what you want. Really though, it's up to you.

PC PCccccccc Peeeee seeeeeeeeeeee!

Regardless of the fact that I don't own a 360, PC > 360.

I heard that PSU doesn't come with widescreen support out of the box, though. Hopefully you can set custom resolutions. A patch for it would be nice, too. Seriously, the 360 verison has to support it...and it shouldn't be that hard to change for the PC users.

I think we need a poll counter to see how many times this topic has been made.

Im going for the 360 Version. The voice chat could get annoying but if I meet a lot of good and responsible players the voice chat will be amazing. Also since I bought my 360 I do plan on using it. Even though my PC can run it great.

All people below the age of 18 should just go ahead and jump on the ps2/pc version. Thanks.

That's probably the dumbest thing I've read today.

There is NO WAY you can reject something you haven't had any experience.

Also, the Xbox 360 supports 720p and Widescreen out of the case. Why it wouldn't is beyond me, but it does, so dwelling on it is redundant.

I'm actually buying a 360 specifically for this game. Mostly because I generally dislike PSO on the computer. I played BB for a few days, and didn't like it at all. Just didnt feel right to me for some reason. So X360 all the way for me. Hopefully I'll enjoy it as much as I did the original PSO on Dreamcast so many years ago. Not to mention voice chat >> keyboard/typing with a controller. Just hope I don't get paired with all the 12 years cussing their brains out. heh http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

Also, first post. sup PSO world? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Well, it's going to be a long and difficult road, but I think in time I just may be able to forgive you. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

Thanks for the welcome http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

On another note, I think I need to go out and get the VGA cable so I can play this on my ever so sexy computer monitor, since my TV is a piece of crap. X_x

not having enough people on the 360 version is a non issue.

Although, going back to your points in the OP, you can use your xbox360 controler on your PC, and you can also just turn BGM off and play music from winamp/itunes/whatever, so those shouldn't really be deciding factors. In your case, it should come down to do you want to play on your TV or your monitor? Do you want voice chat, or do you like text chat? And, are there any friends you will/wont be able to play with depending on what version you choose.

This looks like a "flame" thread to me. I think I used the right term. Anyhow, it reminds me of sectarian violence (360 sect, PC sect and PS2 sect, PS2 and PC being a little friendly to eachother but still shooting at eachother...so yeah). Just stop. Y

If you know even one person that is getting it on the 360, you should try and get it for that system, but if not, then play with your friends. I personally am getting it for the 360 due to my friends being on it and for the voice chat.
