Content Update Temporarily Postponed

http://phantasystaruniverse.jp/news/wis/?mode=view&id=109

We apologize for this great and continued inconvenience.
In the process of implementing the planned content updates, serious problems were encountered.
Due to these events, we will be postponing the update.
We will make an announcement tomorrow October 13, with new information regarding the update.

It's currently unclear what is the problem, and what caused it, but details will be revealed tomorrow morning (tonight US time)

Game Guard Fix

http://phantasystaruniverse.jp/news/wis/?mode=view&id=106

Beginning at approximately 7:00 pm yesterday, and continuing as of server maintenance time yesterday, We were still receiving mostly isolated reports regarding player inability to connect to Phantasy Star Universe due to nProtect GameGuard problems. At that time, we recommended players simply try to establish the connection again. In instances of continued failure, please perform the following:

1) Download:

http://phantasystaruniverse.jp/nProtect/GameGuard1012_SEGAPSU.zip

2) Extract the "GameGuard.des" and "SEGAPSU.ini" files into the root folder of Phantasy Star Universe, overwrite the files there. (The default installation folder is: Drive:Program FilesSEGAPHANTASY STAR UNIVERSE)

Once this has been completed, please try to connect again.

These are merely instruction. Perform only if you've had issues connecting.
I didn't have any problems connecting at all yesterday, though.

Edit: New Announcement

http://phantasystaruniverse.jp/news/wis/?mode=view&id=111

After the scheduled maintenance on October 12th, we have verified that there is a problem with Recalculation and adjustment of Hunter Class Attack and Defense Power in special circumstances. We will correct this in tonight's maintenance.
We reiterate our apologies.

I'm beginning to think the issues are with the new classes...

Honestly, the game is glitched to Hell because if it was developed and tested properly, there would be no need for constant updates. Disappointing.

How many online RPGs can you name that don't have frequent updates? For that matter, what are your credentials in the realm of software development? I assume you know exactly what goes into "properly" developing and testing a game.
