Anyone Going wait for a price drop?

I think I may wait to get the game untill I can pick it up in the $40.00 range at a store or ebay. Anyone else doing the same? I would buy it at full price if I could afford full price and $10.00 a month after , but doing it this way I will get 3 months for $60.00 , being they give the first month for free. I would've also picked it up for 60.00 if they had a way offline to use weapons online being it's not just a waste to play offline. I know their is a story , but truth I doubt be that intresting to pay 60.00 for the story offline game. I haven't rulled out game from buying it on launch though either I'm just waiting try beta and see if worth it.

Xbox makes this game the best being at least can use a headset. I played Japanese demo for ps2 and i'm curious what xbox 360 is to it.

If you take into consideration the $9.99 per month it will cost to play the game and how long you may end up playing it, saving $10 or $20 off the initial cost is not going to be very substantial in the long run... It really doesn't take a game on multi console to drop and their always sales coming up and coupon from sites. I can probably get the game for $50.00 on day one if I want bad enough. Especially a game like this thats at $60.00 and has no special features over the the Ps2 version they drop it really fast.

Well if you are smart enough to be a member of Gamefly you can get any 360 game for $45 as soon as it comes out. You just rent it and iff you like it you goto the website and hit KEEP IT and brand new games are $45. If you wait longer you can get them at amazing prices. Full Auto and Tomb raider (both awesome games) are under $20!!!

Do you know know how to blacklist people? The headset just makes it easier to play (no running away from monsters so you can type a simple message). I love both and think both have strengths and weaknesses.

Online games, especially ones that require a CD key are not available for rent in local or national rental stores. Wouldn't Gamefly be the same? I'd assume so at least.

I will be buying the game upon release. I'm not sure why one would wait a few months for the price to drop 10 or 20 bucks. Part of the sensation of an online game's release is that you will be starting the game along with everyone else. That is well worth the price, just in my opinion.

You can choose not to listen to anyone. There are ways to do that.

Everyone has their own opinions about vocal communication in games. I rather enjoy it, because trying to type while fighting is very hard, especially in PSO. Though when I'm not doing anything, I prefer using a keyboard.

If you want to wait for a price drop, your best bet is ebay, or a used copy at ebgames, buy if you want it new/with the price drop you could be waiting a long time, like a year or more, or possibly a holiday sale at bestbuy.

You can choose who you play with, you don't have to play with the little kids with voice chat. Typing takes away from communication there is no way people will type as much as they would talk (You would also have to stop playing to type). The headset is nice, you choose who you play with and listen to.
