PETA is crazy. Seriously. The next time I see someone supporting PETA, I will slap them.

"I would go to work early, before anyone got there, and I would just kill the animals myself. Because I couldn't stand to let them go through other workers abusing the animals. I must have killed thousands of them, sometimes dozens everyday."
-- Ingrid Newkirk, PETA President, The New Yorker, April 14, 2003

Yes, let's free the animals by killing them all. PETA, most likely, would have no problem with going into every American household with pets and killing them all. Why? PETA hates the mere idea of animals being used by humanity. Pets, food, companions, research, anything. I'm sure that the cute puppies that Ingrid poses with are chucked into a garbage bin the next day, lest the animal become domesticated.

What kind of crazy-ass person do you have to be to fall for their rhetoric?

Another good bedtime story is how the PETA president relies on insulin injections to remain alive. When asked about valuing her life over the lives of the animals killed to get the insulin, she apparently replied, "I need my life to save the lives of other animals."

But I guess she mispoke, judging from what Solstis just posted! I guess she meant to say kill other animals.

I had a class last year with this guy whose dad was a semi-famous geneticist who taught classes at Harvard and is basically a scientific and academic bigshot. My friend's family has had to move like fifty times because PETA members would regularly surround the house and picket, send death threats (once they claimed they would kidnap and eviscerate his little sister), and cause a general ruckus because their dad's lab used rats in experiments.

Yeah, I'm not a big PETA fan, either.

PETA in my opinion are just like radicals. Utterly worthless. Radicals go to abortion clinics and blow it up, because the clinics take lives. Wait a minute...what? Something that doesn't make sense their...they end the life of a fetus, so they kill whoever is in there...

Ingrid Newkirk is a hypocritical moron.

Animals were here first, and they do deserve respect. But I have no respect for PETA, with their disgusting moral equivocation (comparing the deaths of chickens in a broiler to the Holocaust, for instance) and their backwards agenda (Newkirk has said that she would oppose animal testing even if it would find a cure for AIDS).

So, no, I'm not a big PETA fan either.

I only support PETA because they support people eating tasty animals. O WAIT- Wrong PETA.

I make a vow that for every steak they don't eat, I'll eat two, because damned if I'm going to let all that wonderful red meat spoil.
