Dunno if this is normal, but I was soloing in one of the dungeons and suddenly I got a message "??? accepted invite."

I don't recall asking someone to join (unless I unwillingly did it.) So I'm wondering if people can just join up with you? I thought those icons around my HP bar meant for something else, or it's a feature I cant seem to turn off.

Playing FFXI so long it makes this interface so very different -_-.

If you don't want anyone to join you, you have to set a password on the game http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

There is a "Join Party" option in the menu where you can select your missions. Join Party allows you to join any missions players are playing in that are not locked or full. If you wish to play with your friends, associates, or by yourself without anyone disturbing you, then you will have to lock your game.

Basically it's just like how joining a game was in PSO, they never got rid of that system. Since the game is so new, people don't realise it when making a game, and when others join the game they are in with their friends they are like, "DUDE WTF HOW DID U GET IN LEAVE" I'm sure a lot of us have experienced that already.

Haha, I got more than my fair share of that during PSO. Passwords are sometimes too hard of a concept to formulate a plan around for some people when they don't want to be disturbed (OP excluded since it sounds like he hasn't played PSO before and didn't know the setup http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif)
