i noticed that the death toll is huge in this game compared to pso. the enemys are tougher and it takes lots of teamwork in order to progress, but in pso you can solo the begining. thoughts?

From my experiences up to level 8, I've noticed it's much more profitable EXP and money-wise to solo missions C on Guardian Colony and Parum. I can't say anything beyond that, though.

These missions are so short, it's difficult to play them in random groups anyway.

i've pretty much soloed all the way to 50 thus far so it's not hard

What is the actual death penalty? I never stopped long enough to check things when I did die.

You get a lower mission grade, which means you get a lower reward at the end of the mission such as Job experience and Meseta.

I've died a few times from lag, I've seen alot more death than that though.
