Yeah, if you take a look at the official PSU forums they are ranting quite a bit about it.

I'm not sure if they gave any remedies for it, you'll probably be stuck like that until you decide to give up.

I ran into that problem earlier... out of a lv 15+ mob map in Neudaiz. We get through this awesome level, then it freezes at the boss. One of the guys saying he tried it 3 times before, it does it every time..
