Microsoft Points? & Accounts

I've been told by several people that you can buy months of PSU for Xbox360 with 800 Points when it's out, but then on PSUPedia it says the opposite.

Can anyone confirm or deny the use of Microsoft points for buying months? *(I've already when out and got two 1600 Cards in preparation)*

To me it sounded like it would, they said " The xbox360 servers are separate because it would make it easier for people on xbox blah blah blah" <,< I hope that means you can pay with Microsoft points <,<

From what has been officially said, you can get a Guardian's Licence linked up to your Xbox 360 if you don't have a Gold membership and you need 800 points to acquire that licence. There was nothing official about how you had to pay per month in points. The 800 MS points are needed for Silver members to get the licence. Then, you'll have to choose your payment method on the SEGA page.
