Question about 360 and PC versions

I'm not sure if this has been brought up, but I have friends on Xbox and PC versions and I wanted to play with both with out buying both. Is it possible to buy the 360 version and use the game code from the 360 to DL the PC version (like if people didnt have dvd drive on their computers) and have both versions?

There isn't an activation code for the Xbox 360 version, and you'd need a PC code to register the PC version.
