... how will I know what's what? Will it be the same as the PS2 version of PSU, or different? (I see someone posted something where you set certain keys to certain buttons, but that's for Logitech or whatever.)

If I hook up my controller, will it work automatically, or will I have to do some sort of special set-up?

And can someone give me the button fuction layout for a PS2 controller then?

It will automatically work and you can config the buttons if you go in options.
This is a topic made for config buttons http://www.pso-world.com/viewtopic.php?topic=121684&forum=20&7

Thats for any controller, Kizzy. Any controller. Even an SNES controller if you have an adapter for that. >.>;
